Well here we are a beautiful day and some new goodies for you to look at !
I really like these new pieces,I had a good time making them .
If you only knew what I put my family through when doing this.
I use everyone as a model ,it is getting to be when my husband see me coming,with a necklace in my hands, he runs the other way !
Poor thing ,what I put him through for my craft.
Even though he rolls his eyes each time I catch him and put one on him he still a good sport. Thanks honey ,by the way red isn't your color !!

WAY TO GO SUSAN !!

I know most of you had to have heard this woman Susan Boyle who sang on a show called Britain has talent.They are showing her clip on www.youtube.com ,UNBELIEVABLE !!
I don't know about you but her singing brought me to tears.Not just because it was good ,but because the whole situation behind her .I don't usually watch these kind of show because the way they treat people,the judges are cruel and I don't think that is entertainment.Someone I know sent me the link to watch her,and I was overcome with Great joy for her.
As she walked onto that stage,they all thought she was some kind of joke because of the way she looked. How sad we are as a people to judge so quickly ,simply by the way we look .We have all done it too, so this is a good lesson for us all.
The minute she opened her mouth it was as if an angel was singing ,and the look of shock was wonderful to see,on the judges and the audience faces .Also the embarrassment that they all felt because of their quick judgement!! I for one look forward to her first CD,I'll be in line to buy that one.
HOORAY!! for you Susan ,you showed them and the world ,and now your dream is coming true.

Wonderful Surprise !

Hey all ! I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter!,and that the Easter bunny didn't leave behind any unwanted surprises..lol!
We enjoy our Holiday very much ,and we did have a surprise but not from the bunny!
My father surprised us with old Family films he had found while cleaning out the attic over the week .
What a Great treat for us all ,a walk down memory lane .What made it a blast is that most of the film was of Easter time.
We got to spend Easter with family that have been gone for many years ,grandparents and cousins and old family friends .
Aunts and Uncles that all live in other states and haven't seen in years.
Watching family traditions that we have let go,because of all the ones that we shared them with were gone .
It brought tears of joy to see all there smiling faces again. It also brought some sadness as well that they are gone, and made this Easter a little more special .
Always cherish your love ones and tell them often you love them .Don't run from that camera when it is pointed in your direction the memories that are stored on film will be a special gift to your family for years to come.

Corrections !

Hey everyone I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
I spent mine correcting a bit of a mishap.
I had a family member help me when listing and measuring my pieces well this weekend when she was posting new pieces I noticed that her measurements were incorrect !
I would like to apologize to all of you for this slight mistake .
So we spent the weekend remeasuring the pieces and re tagging everything WOW there is a lot ..lol !After we were done I paid her in kisses and a piece of her choice .
We all make mistakes and learn from what we have done .

Sunshine day !

Happy April everyone !! WOOHOO ! today is a beauty,you couldn't ask for a nicer one and you know spring has arrived when you see these little feathered friends come back!

Today was a sign of what is yet to come ,and OH BOY are we ready !!
After winters long sleep I'm glad to dust off the cob webs and shake my tail feathers!

Just think it is just a hop, skip, and a jump, to Easter .

Isn't it funny when the weather warm up ,time seems to kick into high gear. We will blink and before you know it, the four of July will be here whoa ! lets slow it down I don't want to rush through it that quick ,it takes too long to get here ..lol !! Enjoy the nice weather all !

New things for spring !

Hey all it took me some time but here are some new thing for Spring !
I still have more to come but these are good for a start.
I'm still searching for GREAT colors for spring,I want to find just the right ones to brighten us up, after our long winter.It is time for the sun to shine ,and that's what I'm looking for .

Fun Friday ,Have a GREAT weekend !

This is a letter from Grandma. She is eighty-eight years old and still drives her own car. She writes:



Dear Grand-daughter,



The other day I went up to our local Christian book store and saw a 'Honk if

you love Jesus' bumper sticker.



I was feeling particularly sassy that day because I had just come from a

thrilling choir performance, followed by a thunderous prayer meeting.



So, I bought the sticker and put it on my bumper.



Boy, am I glad I did; what an uplifting experience followed.



I was stopped at a red light at a busy intersection, just lost in thought

about the Lord and how good he is, and I didn't notice that the light had

changed.



It is a good thing someone else loves Jesus because if he hadn't honked, I'd

never have noticed.



I found that lots of people love Jesus!



While I was sitting there, the guy behind started honking like crazy, and

then he leaned out of his window and screamed, 'For the love of God!'

'Go! Go! Go! Jesus Christ, GO!'



What an exuberant cheerleader he was for Jesus!



Everyone started honking!



I just leaned out my window and started waving and smiling at all those

loving people.



I even honked my horn a few times to share in the love!



There must have been a man from Florida back there because I heard him

yelling something about a sunny beach.



I saw another guy waving in a funny way with only his middle finger stuck up

in the air.



I asked my teenage grandson in the back seat what that meant.

He said it was probably a Hawaiian good luck sign or something.



Well, I have never met anyone from Hawaii , so I leaned out the window and

gave him the good luck sign right back..



My grandson burst out laughing. Why, even he was enjoying this religious experience!!



A couple of the people were so caught up in the joy of the moment that they

got out of their cars and started walking towards me.



I bet they wanted to pray or ask what church I attended, but this is when I

noticed the light had changed.



So, grinning, I waved good bye to all those brothers and sisters, and drove on through the intersection.



I noticed that I was the only car that got through the intersection before

the light changed again and felt kind of sad that I had to leave them after

all the love we had shared.



So I slowed the car down, leaned out the window and gave them all the

Hawaiian good luck sign one last time as I drove away. Praise the Lord for

such wonderful folks!!

HAPPY ST. PATTIES DAY !

Well it that time of year when a touch of the green is here !Not just spring but St. Patties day ,and we are blessed with the luck of the Irish .
As i went out to do a little spring clean up,I could see the flowers starting to push through the dirt,and I saw a beautiful rainbow ,how nice it was to see .

It happen that the rainbow ended right in my yard ,and would you believe I found this right by the fence.

As I made my way towards the potted surprise,I seen a green streak cross my path .
Low and behold something was making away with my potted surprise.
I had to blink twice to make sure of what I was seeing .

This little green devil was taking my gift from heaven.Good thing I thought quick ,before he could blink I snatched him up,and covered him tightly.I might list him on e-bay you think I will get a good price.

Well now that I left you with a little blarney ..lol enjoy your St. Patties day !

In their shoes !

I have a friend who sons is in the Army and has already done four tours of duty .
My question is how many tours do the young men and woman have to do before we can say that is enough !

He has been called back for a fifth tour and the stress is too much for his family .
His father has had two strokes because of the stress. His Mother has had fallen in to deep depression because of the worry,and he himself is starting to show signs of war fatigue.

He hasn't been deployed yet because he is waiting for his child to be born ,he has to leave right after .
There are many families that have these same troubles and still my question is how much is enough .
Are we going to end up with another generation of solders that will be ruined for life.
The scars from war last a life time,that is even if they make it home, to have a life .
As an American I am proud of our people in uniform and the GREAT job they have done in keeping our country safe.
Isn't it time to say enough is enough and let our troops come home while they still can .

Mothers that spend days wondering if the sons and daughters will come home .
Wives crying at night over husbands that are not there.
Babies growing up without knowing daddy ,only a picture,or a voice on the phone.
These families are suffering as much as the troops ,they live it everyday .

What do we do as a people for all who have suffered ?
Stand behind them all the way,support their families in what they need ,and pray to GOD that this war ends soon so they can all come home !

WE NEED TO STOP THE ABUSE !

When are we as woman going to stand up and fight !! DAM IT I"M SO ANGRY !!
Things have come such a small way when we talk about protecting woman and children from the abuse of men,or I should say SCUM BAGS !,and in this day and age it is still allowed to happen. Just because we ware their ring doesn't give them the right to abuse us.

Things need to change and more quickly.The laws need to be tougher,on these bastards.

I have seen my sister-in-law live and die in an abusive marriage ,and now I see it happening to my best friend .I can't stand by and watch this happen to another person I love and care for.

How can we call ourselves Human beings and let this happen each and everyday to woman and children all over the world ,SHAME ON US .
Just because it isn't happening to us ,doesn't mean it isn't up to us to fix it .

Please join the fight any way you can.

Furry and Fun !

Just a little fun with our furry friends !!

To burn or not to burn !

Today I find myself facing the same dilemma that woman over the centuries have battled!
The quest to find the perfect BRA !
Woman from the dawn of time have searched for that perfect over the shoulder boulder holder .

In the beginning woman had to use what they could find ,I'm sure shells in their day fill the bill just fine. But how would it look under your favorite blouse ? It never did catch on .

Then as time went on someone thought it would be a good idea to use these beauties.I don't know about you, but I wouldn't treasure the thought of putting my girls into a broken nut held together with string. Of course the support must be fabulous !
As we became more advanced ,a more improved model came forward .

This style looked like you could ware them into battle ,causing our enemies fatal wounds .Watch it you could poke an eye out with that thing !
As the years have past,our favorite undergarment became more obscure,and our need for comfort and support have become great.

This style I believe was made to help hold them up .The spikes would grab your shirt and keep them from dropping down .
Unfortunately this became a problem when dating ,the kiss good night was a bit painful for the new boyfriend.
Then I have found that some of the newer styles were a great asset when dieting .

This model has storage space for your chocolate stash,so you can keep your fix close to your heart.
The only side effect to the secret stash is you have to eat it quick before it melts,or make sure you stay away from pastels colors . It will be hard to explain the dark spots.
As usual we can never stick to our diets more then a short while so then we end up shopping for a larger size . I knew I shouldn't of had that last candy bar!

After all we have struggled and searched for, as usual we could fall back to the ever faithful and always recommend way to hold them up .

There is always someone around to offer their helping hand.
Now I can see why woman wanted to burn these bad boys,I'm sure the freedom was satisfying .
Maybe some day someone will come up with something that doesn't,poke you in the side ,keeps them where they belong and doesn't leave a dent in your shoulder so your purse doesn't slip off.
The search goes on !!
