HALLOWEEN COUNTDOWN !


One of my favorite times of the year has always been Halloween ! It is the only time of year when you can be someone or something your not for an entire night !
I love the costumes,and the makeup . I look forward to what the kids and adults will come up with each year.

Of course I have always like the home made costume the best . It is easy just to go out and buy something ,But it is great when you can make something scary on your own.
Oh lets not forget the pumpkins have you all carved yours yet ?
I'm doing mine tonight!

The pumpkins get better and better ,sometimes it is hard to believe they are pumpkins the pictures are that good,and some are just plain funny! Wait pumpkin joke !


Why do Jack-o-Lanterns have stupid smiles on their faces?
You would have a stupid smile too ,if you just had all your brains scooped out !

I don't care who you are that was funny!!

Recovery !

I'm still recovering from another great show . We all had a great time ,nothing like spending the afternoon with a great bunch of ladies. Laughing and having fun trying on all the jewelry. Deciding on what piece would go with what outfit.
It is nice to see no matter what age you are,girls are girls when we all get together !



I don't realize how much doing the show takes out of me. Till it is all over and I'm sitting down .


Thank you,to all who came to the show and for buying my pieces .I hope you enjoy them for years to come !

Now I think I'm going to take a small break to gather my strength and work on some Christmas project .Don't worry it won't be too long of a break then it will back to the work show for me .




The holidays are around the corner and now the time to get started before the rush .I have already started and have two things checked off the shopping list.
I hope to have it done before Thanksgiving !

Jewelry Show !


Well after these past few months I have been crankin out new pieces each week . Boy am I tired ,but it will be all worth it the day of the show,which is this Friday .I finished up the last few pieces I was working in ,and packed up my gear.I'm ready to go !
The lady enjoy it so much ,you can see it on their faces . I think that is the part I enjoy the most . Watching them try on each pieces then asking if it look nice with what they are wearing. I think it having the shows is more personal then just having a store somewhere.

I look forward to a wonderful and very busy day . I hope to see many of my new friends there ,and I hope you all enjoy the new pieces I have this time around .

A Day By The Water !

What a day ! We got are butts up and out early today, loaded up the Jeep and headed for the Salmon River . Just a quick trip up the road and we were there to see the fish swim there way to the hatchery!


I wish I could of gotten better shots of the fish making their way up the river.



The trip was well worth it,People from all over the place were there to try a chance at catching one of these huge fish . The challenge alone is worth their long ride to come here .



We decided to stop in the hatchery to see what was going on ,there were a lot of families there enjoying the Salmon experience.

These fish are truly amazing what an awesome sight to watch them fight their way up river.





After the that we traveled further up the road and stopped at the Salmon River Falls,What a beautiful place to visit . We go to the river all the time ,but never made the trip to the falls . I don't know why we waited so long,If you are ever up this way put the falls on your list of thing to see you will be glad you did !

My bright Ideas !



Well I'm glad I had such a great time over the weekend,I need to get one of these now,cause after that bike ride I paid the price.I spent these last two day on my back or walkin with a cane . I knew it was too good to believe ! Well it was worth it ,I had a great day with my son and felt alive again.It has been too long ,as the week goes by I should get better I hope !


I along with everyone who has fibromyalgia pray for a cure,so we can have our lives back. Even some relief,once in a while would be nice. After awhile we all just have to live with it ,and take each day as it comes!

Fall Fun !

What a fabulous day it was! I could live with this kind of weather all year . I spent the afternoon with my son. We took the bike trail by the house and it was a real good time. It was actually a break through for me I haven't been able to ride for eight years ever since I became Ill.I felt good this morning so I figured what the heak give it a try. I was real proud of myself I made it two miles,now lets see if I can walk tomorrow !!! lol Enjoy the pictures.

AMERICA !! LAND OF THE FREE



I think it is time for All the ungrateful people of this country to take time and reread this document ,as well as the Constitution . I never really say too much when people sit and complain how crappy it is here and what we have to put up with. I just roll my eyes and consider where it is coming from.
PLEASE I'm really getting tired of hearing it . If people think it is better somewhere else then move !No one has your feet nailed to the floor! Lets see where else in the world you can live and bash your country and not go to prison for it ,or wake up with a bullet in your head.If thing are not to your liking then change it . Many say oh we can't do anything about . Well with that kind of attitude of course you can't.If the people who founded this country thought that way we would still be bowing to the Queen. I don't know about you but my back isn't up for it ! Just remember before you start to complain, the freedoms we have here are nowhere else. We can go out side and go where we please. We eat what we want when we want . We have homes to live in toys to keep us entertained. Our children are safe and can look forward to a future,where in most countries children don't make it through one day . As I type this how many men,woman and children have just been mistreated or even died because they have no right of any kind . Stand up and be proud you are an AMERICAN and that you have the rights you have ,that my father and many fathers,and grandfathers fought for !

The Unanimous Declaration of the Thirteen United States of America
When, in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the laws of nature and of nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. That to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed. That whenever any form of government becomes destructive to these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their safety and happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shown that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. He has forbidden his governors to pass laws of immediate and pressing importance, unless suspended in their operation till his assent should be obtained; and when so suspended, he has utterly neglected to attend to them.

He has refused to pass other laws for the accommodation of large districts of people, unless those people would relinquish the right of representation in the legislature, a right inestimable to them and formidable to tyrants only.

He has called together legislative bodies at places unusual, uncomfortable, and distant from the depository of their public records, for the sole purpose of fatiguing them into compliance with his measures.

He has dissolved representative houses repeatedly, for opposing with manly firmness his invasions on the rights of the people.

He has refused for a long time, after such dissolutions, to cause others to be elected; whereby the legislative powers, incapable of annihilation, have returned to the people at large for their exercise; the state remaining in the meantime exposed to all the dangers of invasion from without, and convulsions within.

He has endeavored to prevent the population of these states; for that purpose obstructing the laws for naturalization of foreigners; refusing to pass others to encourage their migration hither, and raising the conditions of new appropriations of lands.

For suspending our own legislatures, and declaring themselves invested with power to legislate for us in all cases whatsoever.

He has abdicated government here, by declaring us out of his protection and waging war against us.

He has plundered our seas, ravaged our coasts, burned our towns, and destroyed the lives of our people.

He is at this time transporting large armies of foreign mercenaries to complete the works of death, desolation and tyranny, already begun with circumstances of cruelty and perfidy scarcely paralleled in the most barbarous ages, and totally unworthy of the head of a civilized nation.

He has constrained our fellow citizens taken captive on the high seas to bear arms against their country, to become the executioners of their friends and brethren, or to fall themselves by their hands.

He has excited domestic insurrections amongst us, and has endeavored to bring on the inhabitants of our frontiers, the merciless Indian savages, whose known rule of warfare, is undistinguished destruction of all ages, sexes and conditions.

In every stage of these oppressions we have petitioned for redress in the most humble terms: our repeated petitions have been answered only by repeated injury. A prince, whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people.

Nor have we been wanting in attention to our British brethren. We have warned them from time to time of attempts by their legislature to extend an unwarrantable jurisdiction over us. We have reminded them of the circumstances of our emigration and settlement here. We have appealed to their native justice and magnanimity, and we have conjured them by the ties of our common kindred to disavow these usurpations, which, would inevitably interrupt our connections and correspondence. We must, therefore, acquiesce in the necessity, which denounces our separation, and hold them, as we hold the rest of mankind, enemies in war, in peace friends.

We, therefore, the representatives of the United States of America, in General Congress, assembled, appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions, do, in the name, and by the authority of the good people of these colonies, solemnly publish and declare, that these united colonies are, and of right ought to be free and independent states; that they are absolved from all allegiance to the British Crown, and that all political connection between them and the state of Great Britain, is and ought to be totally dissolved; and that as free and independent states, they have full power to levey war, conclude peace, contract alliances, establish commerce, and to do all other acts and things which independent states may of right do. Scarecrow time of year !


It is that time of year when all the crow better run for the hills !! The scarecrows are out in full force! I love it, they are one of my favorite things . There are so many different kinds and each one is better then the last .

Did you hear about the scarecrow that won an award?

Apparently he was out standing in his field.


This is Miles Scarecrow. He is a very smart little scarecrow. He wants to tell you something about scarecrows: "Farmers work very hard planting and harvesting their crops. The scarecrow is an important "farm hand" whose job is to stand in the garden and frighten away birds which might eat the fruit, vegetables, and grain before they're harvested. People all over the world rely on the figures to keep their crops safe."

Miles Scarecrow also wants to tell you: "Scarecrows have been used for 3000 years all over the world, and have been called by other names like the jack-of-straw, scarebird, tattybogle, shoy-hoy."


This is Michael Scarecrow. He likes to play fun video games. He would also like to tell you something about scarecrows: "Scarecrows have a long history, dating back to the ancient Romans and Greeks who carved wooden statues of their harvest gods to stand guard in the fields. Germans created wooden witches for the same purpose, and they believed that the figures had special powers to draw the "evil spirit of winter" into their bodies so that spring would come. People in Japan protected their rice paddies with scarecrows made of oily rags and fish bones attached to tall sticks."

Michael Scarecrow would also like to tell you: "Hungry birds have always been a problem for farmers. Sometimes the birds ate so much corn or wheat that a farmer and his family would not have enough food to last through the winter." SO "Farmers get hoppin' mad when crows and other birds snatch their crops. That's why they started making scarecrows. They stuffed old clothes with straw. Then they put these scarecrow "people" on poles in their fields. Did the scarecrows do a good job of frightening the birds away? Maybe for a few hours. Pretty soon the birds were using the scarecrows as places to rest between meals!"


This is Mathew Scarecrow, he is the youngest and funniest scarecrow brother of our adopted three. Mathew Scarecrow likes to make people laugh and he is very good at it too. He is so sweet and funny. Mathew has something to tell you about scarecrows too: "As you can see, scarecrows are created from whatever the farmer has on hand. In America the figure is usually made of some old clothes and a hat, and the stuffing is straw or hay."

Mathew Scarecrow also wants to tell you: "Neither rain nor snow nor dead of night can make the scarecrow leave their post as guardians of the crops. They also weather the through the wind, sleet and blazing sun. They protect young corn in the spring; in the summer, beans and cabbages, in the fall and winter, the early plantings of wheat."

Well no matter what ye use ye Scarecrows for, or what they be made out of !
