Keeping Busy

Well another weekend is coming to an end ,boy do they go quick ! I use to work with someone once who said it best ,Friday night you get your coffee and sit to take a rest the minute your butt hits the chair its Monday morning ! I've been busy making new pieces and working on my paper clay project.Just a sneak peek for ya !

If I wasn't busy enough I've started something new. I had a lot of scrap material around and made up a block,I liked the way it came out so now I'm doing a new blanket for my bed .It will be nice for the cold weather that is on it's way. It will be nice to snuggle down and keep the chill off our cheeks if you know what I mean !!

I can see it all now ,I'll post a picture when it is done !
In closing I ask all of you to say a special prayer for my friend congetta she is going through a real hard time now and can use all the prayers she can get .I pray that God guides her during this time and give her the strength she needs to see it through . Amen

Rain Rain go away !

I Love the Rain and Green is my favorite color,But this is getting to be too much ! Everyone at this point is walking around in damp underwear lol !! If this keeps up we will have to start collecting animals two by two, OH BOY !! I haven't been well these last few days,the rain isn't my best friend and make the old body hurt somethin fierce.But I have been busy new pieces are on the way and I have a new package of paper clay

Here is the little beauty!,and it is already in the works,it reminds me of when I played with paper dolls and I could believe that they still make them ,I found these the other day.
oh do you remember the fun a simple piece of paper gave us . Today if you gave a girl paper dolls to play with they would think we were crazy!!They would want the video version! Are we sure we are going in the right direction with all our modern gadgets, our kids are loosing there imaginations, it is sad to see!

NEW PIECES !!

Hey all ! I've been real busy,my fingers moving fast as lighting making up new pieces for everyone to see .Some are pieces I have made before because of special request ! Everyone love the the silver tone chains so I made up some more,and found some new stone that are to die for ! It is DOG EAT DOG out there when getting stones, and OH BOY do some of them bite real hard !!

I would like to say A BIG I"M SORRY to all the lovely ladies that haven't pierced ears.I just wasn't usin my melon! Silly of me to think that everyone had their ear done .SO for all you wonderful gals that need clip on earrings I've set you up and made some just for you ! I've tried some on OH BOY !,not use to that so good for you that can were them ! I'm gearing up for another show to be ready for the holiday season. Everyone is asking me to hurry so I guess I better ! Blast from the past!

The other day I was looking online and stumbled across some old clips from TV shows I watched as a kid.I couldn't helped to laugh and when you hear the music you can't help to sing along!
Or what about the sea monster, Shello!
When you think of how simple things were back then compared to what they show on TV now .It is scary to be a kid now a days.
When I look at these things and laugh I tell my son come here and look at this he gives me a look like I'm crazy .It is the same look I know I gave my mother way back when!Nothing like getting older,kick back and enjoy every moment.

Boilermaker Sunday!

What a great day for a race,we had another great Boilermaker Road Race .Everyone day a great time and all the runners get a BIG hand !! It is a hard race to run and they had good weather for it this time around .As usual there were some funny dressed up runners that makes the race all the more enjoyable for all .Great Job to you all !

A visit from God!

My son was in the yard yesterday and took these beautiful pictures ,he came in quick to show me .He said doesn't it look like God is coming down from heaven ,and by Jove he is right Great job Son !!

I'm glad the Lord had time to stop by ! Amen

Sunday in the sun !

The beginning of the path and here's a rock I would like to see someone try to skip! Honey I don't think you can pick that one up !This is how we started our adventure today .


taking the trail down was a great a treat in it's self each step was filled with wonderful beauty. We enjoyed just taking in all we saw and heard . The sound of the water rushing over the rocks was very peaceful.The birds filling the air with song.The breeze making the leaves of the trees make their own kind of music.


How can we not be grateful ,just look at this beautiful sight! A short ride up the hill and we found paradise.So tempting we wanted to jump in but there were signs posted no swimming,what a bummer.


We ended our wonderful day with a nice view of the clouds watching them float by as we enjoy the quite.You can loose yourself in those wonderful fluffly parts of heaven.

Enjoying life!

What a wonderful day we had I hope everyone had a chance to enjoy it as much as we did. We spent the day up in the north counrty,Pulaski! The weather and the day were perfect.


The water was nice and fishin was great, as you can see my hubby caught himself a good one.We pratice the catch and release program in our home .Just so they can grow and be caught another day,bet the fish were glad of that !!


The view was breath taking and so peaceful ,I could have stayed there for ever,if given a choice.

As you can see we were'nt the only ones who had the chance to enjoy the water and Gods great gift.
After spending most of the morning by the water we went into town,stoped at our favorite gift shop and then had lunch with a few friends.

I think there main diet is french fries the whole flock would follow you anywhere for just one.Everytime I see that all I can think of is the Disney movie Finding Nemo,when all the seagulls say the whole time is Mine,Mine .If you think of that then watch the way they act it is all so true !!Enjoy the rest of your weekend and be safe.

Jummpin for Joy!

Well the show was a smash hit,HOORAY! All the ladies were have a great time as well as I. It was a joy to watch them and how excited they were at all the choices they had . I brought my Mom and niece along to help out . Whew! good thing I did We weren't even finished setting up when the ladies stormed the gates!As they all left they kept asking when I was coming back.So, I booked another show for them in the fall it will give me time to reload for them ! lol I didn't really expect that kind of reaction I was thinking oh I do the usual a few sales but they took a big chuck out of my inventory . So I had to hit the craft store and I will be shopping on line for new beads this weekend I'll be busy again for awhile ,and I don't mind it at all !
I got more paper clay I've got the itch to play in the clay again so I'll let ya know what I come up with
