sunshine finally!!

Well the sun finally showed it's face now only if it would warm up we'll be set !! I spent the day after work ,shopping for new gem stones for new pieces I'm working on and finally found crimp beads I've been looking for .Every time I go into Michael's crafts they are changing the beads around what's up with that?? You use to where stuff is then they go and take stuff out or change where they put it ,so it takes twice as long to find where it is. Oh well can't have everything ha ha!

It's Arrived !

The snow is here and to stay ,it doesn't take long for it to pile up ,that's what we get living in Upstate NY. You have to love it a little or we wouldn't live here.

Storms a commin !!

Batten down the hatches a storm on it way. Just what we needed another storm, I hope I'm not the only one praying for spring I'm tired of being cold. Even though today was beautiful I didn't get a chance to get out there. Working on my jewelry and display cases for them and my rosaries.

NO MORE RIGHTS!!!

Now things are getting out of hand I heard this morning at some school a child was wearing a necklace with a cross on it and was sent home to remove it .Hello what happen to freedom of religion!! We as Americans give freedoms to all who come here ,with out question . As the years go by we are giving up our freedoms to accommodate others we need to wake up and take back the rights that founded this country or we will loose it all and ask later what happened. Who knows what our children will be allow to do when they are grown.

Another day has passed us by ,and here we are ,watching the awards show and everyone looks so beauitful ,the clothes and of course the jewelry is fab!! this time of night is nice and quite let ya think of the things that happen during the day .Didn't get too much done ,I did work on one necklace .I got the stones online from Az. Affrican yellow opals sooooo pretty,it is going to be real nice when when I'm done I'll put it on so people can see. I so glad I don't work on Mondays so it gives me more time to work on my pieces in peace everyone eles is out of the house.

Well another day is coming to a close for most for me it is a start to yet another piece of art. I'll be starting on a new piece of jewelry and another set of rosaries,that will take up the rest of my evening . As you could say burning the midnight oil.Between making the pieces and surfing the web for new and fancy gems I'll be busy. It is more like an addiction then a hobby or craft ,once I start a piece I have to keep going till I see the finished piece, sometime that's rough cause it could take days to finish one piece.
By the time I'm done I'm already thinking of the next.Then I can't wait till people see them ,the smiles let me know that I've done what I've set 0ut to do spread a little joy!

The search for the right gems is just as fun as making them into a beauitful piece of art.

I take great pride in making things with my hands,I also like to share them with others.Just knowing that some one has one of the pieces I've made ,and it brings them some joy is wonderful!
