A Prayer Request !

My friends I am asking you all for your prayers.
A while back I have met this woman online who in a very short while has become very close to me .She is a very nice person who has had many hard times .She has shared a lot of her life with me and I with her . Are meeting was a blessing in a way,she as I, suffers with Fibromyalgia. Anyone who suffers with this knows how hard living life is,and what a comfort it is to talk with someone who knows how you feel.
She is also suffering with the news that her son has been called up to go back to war for the fifth time, they will deploy him right after the birth of his son in two months. God willing he will make it through again to see his son grow. She dies a little each time her son has to go back. She is very proud of his service to his country but it is still hard to let him go ,not sure if he will be home again. As many of you who have to face that same fate.
Now with all she has to endure her husband had a stroke last night, and is in the hospital. I ask us all to add these people to your prayers and ask God for his help ,and mercy for Mel and her family.

OUTRAGEOUS !!

Here I go again !
Last night I was flipping through the channels and came across this program ,I couldn't believe my ears. It took a few minutes for it to absorb what they were saying .

There was this company that came up with a Caylee Anthony doll .WHAT !!!
This company claimed that portions of the sales of this ghoulish doll will go into a fund in Caylee's name !
I don't know about you all ,But when are we going to stop these crazy people !!
This is stepping over the line ,when questioned about the amount donated ,the man couldn't give a straight answer. HELLO RED FLAG !!
This has all gone too far ,these creeps are trying to profit off this child's death !
God forbid these men ever have to experience this kind of heartache.

This child was murdered by a sick Mother and this poor family is now faced not with one loss but the loss of two children.

On top of all that they have to deal with the aftermath and the cold judgement of the media and the public.
If any of us purchase this doll,we are just as guilty as the ones involved in the exploitation of this child's murder !!
Please don't be fooled by a tricky advertising ploy that will pull at the heart strings.
They are preying on our sense of compassion and charity .

If we truly want to help and preserve the memory of this child .Help find justice for her murder ,and pray for her soul to find peace .
There are many places where we as a people that can donate our money and not add to some rich mans pockets !!
I pray that we all do the right thing ,and tell this company what it can do with it doll, you know what I mean !!

Computer Craziness !

Oh what a fun ride I've been on. My computer went crazy and this time I couldn't figure what was going on . I got to the point where i was going to use emergency repair procedure number 1 hitting it with a hammer !Unfortunately that didn't seem to work .
Like most people I know the basics of working these marvels of our age ,but this trip was out of my league !

Well before I had a total melt down I called in the big boys to get the job done !
I'm so glad I have friends that live for this kind of problem and enjoy the challenge.
This event has really let me know how much time we really spend on these stupid machines,we put so much into them they are a full part of our lives .

I think I spend too much time on this metal devil. When it was gone it was like a loss of an arm ..lol

YOU KNOW YOU'RE ADDICTED TO THE INTERNET WHEN...

• Your bookmarks takes 15 minutes to scroll from top to bottom.

• You step out of your room and realize that your parents have moved and you don't have a clue when it happened.

• All of your friends have an @ in their names.

• You've already visited all the links at Yahoo and you're halfway through Excite.

• You check your mail. It says "no new messages." So you check it again.

• Your phone bill is delivered in a box.

• You wake up at 3 a.m. to go to the bathroom and stop and check your e-mail on the way back to bed.

• The last girl you picked up was only a jpeg.

• You forget what year it is.

• You begin to wonder how on earth your service provider is allowed to call 200 hours per month "unlimited."

Well with everything back to normal and running well ,A SPECIAL THANK YOU ! to my friend for the fix !

You know if your from Upstate New York !

Upstate New York

If you consider it a sport to gather your food by drilling through 36 inches of ice and sitting there all day hoping that the
food will swim by, you might live in Upstate New York .

If you're proud that your region makes the national news 96 nights a year because Saranac Lake is the coldest spot in the nation, and Syracuse gets more snow than any other major city in the US , you might live in Upstate, NY.

If your local Dairy Queen is closed from October through May, you might live in Upstate New York .

If you get 131 inches of snow in a week and you comment that 'winter's finally here', you might live near Oswego in
Upstate New York .

If you instinctively walk like a penguin for six months out of the year, you might live, bundled up, in Upstate New York .

If someone in a Home Depot store offers you assistance, and they don't work there, you might live in Upstate NY.

If your dad's suntan stops at a line curving around the middle of his forehead, you might live in Upstate New York .

If you have worn shorts and a parka on the same day, you might live in Upstate New York .

If you have had a lengthy phone conversation with someone who dialed a wrong number, you might live in Upstate York .

YOU KNOW YOU ARE A TRUE UPSTATE NEW YORKER WHEN:

"Vacation" means going South past Syracuse for the weekend. (To Binghamton )

You measure distance in hours.

You know several people who have hit a deer more than once.

You often switch from "heat" to "A/C" in the same day and back again.

You can drive 65 mph through 2 feet of snow during a raging blizzard, without flinching.

You install security lights on your house and garage and leave both unlocked.

You carry jumper cables in your car and your girlfriend/wife knows how to use them.

You design your kid's Halloween costume to fit over a snowsuit.

Driving is better in the winter because the potholes are filled with snow.

You know all 4 seasons: almost winter, winter, still winter, and road construction.

You can identify a southern or eastern accent.

Down South to you means Corning ..

Your neighbor throws a party to celebrate his new shed.

You go out for a fish fry every Friday.

Your 4th of July picnic was moved indoors due to frost.

You have more miles on your snow blower than your car.

You find 10 degrees "a little chilly." and 55 is shorts weather.

You actually understand these jokes, and you forward them to all your Upstate New York friends and to those who used to live here and left. -- (chickens

It speaks for itself !

I don't think I have ever heard this stated better.

The following was written by Ben Stein and recited by him on CBS Sunday Morning

Commentary.

My confession:

I am a Jew, and every single one of my ancestors was Jewish. And it does not bother me even a little bit when people call those beautiful lit up, bejeweled trees, Christmas trees.. I don't feel threatened. I don't feel discriminated against. That's what they are: Christmas trees.

It doesn't bother me a bit when people say, 'Merry Christmas' to me. I don't think they are slighting me or getting ready to put me in a ghetto. In fact, I kind of like it It shows that we are all brothers and sisters celebrating this happy time of year. It doesn't bother me at all that there is a manger scene on display at a key intersection near my beach house in Malibu . If people want a creche, it's just as fine with me as is the Menorah a few hundred yards away.

I don't like getting pushed around for being a Jew, and I don't think Christians like getting pushed around for being Christians. I think people who believe in God are sick and tired of getting pushed around, period. I have no idea where the concept came from that America is an explicitly atheist country. I can't find it in the Constitution and I don't like it being shoved down my throat.

Or maybe I can put it another way: where did the idea come from that we should worship celebrities and we aren't allowed to worship God as we understand Him? I guess that's a sign that I'm getting old, too. But there are a lot of us who are wondering where these celebrities came from and where the America we knew went to.

In light of the many jokes we send to one another for a laugh, this is a little different: This is not intended to be a joke; it's not funny, it's intended to get you thinking.

Billy Graham's daughter was interviewed on the Early Show and Jane Clayson asked her 'How could God let something like this happen?' (regarding Katrina) Anne Graham gave an extremely profound and insightful response. She said, 'I believe God is deeply saddened by this, just as we are, but for years we've been telling God to get out of our schools, to get out of our government and to get out of our lives. And being the gentleman He is, I believe He has calmly backed out. How can we expect God to give us His blessing and His protection if we demand He leave us alone?'

In light of recent events... terrorists attack, school shootings, etc I think it started when Madeleine Murray O'Hare (she was murdered, her body found a few years ago) complained she didn't want prayer in our schools, and we said OK. Then someone said you better not read the Bible in school. The Bible says thou shalt not kill, thou shalt not steal, and love your neighbor as yourself. And we said OK.

Then Dr. Benjamin Spock said we shouldn't spank our children when they misbehave because their little personalities would be warped and we might damage their self-esteem (Dr Spock's son committed suicide). We said an expert should know what he's talking about. And we said OK.

Now we're asking ourselves why our children have no conscience, why they don't know right from wrong, and why it doesn't bother them to kill strangers, their classmates, and themselves.

Probably, if we think about it long and hard enough, we can figure it out. I think it has a great deal to do with 'WE REAP WHAT WE SOW.'

Funny how simple it is for people to trash God and then wonder why the world's going to hell. Funny how we believe what the newspapers say, but question what the Bible says. Funny how you can send 'jokes' through e-mail and they spread like wildfire but when you start sending messages regarding the Lord, people think twice about sharing. Funny how lewd, crude, vulgar and obscene articles pass freely through cyberspace, but public discussion of God is suppressed in the school and workplace.

Are you laughing yet?

Funny how when you forward this message, you will not send it to many on your address list because you're not sure what they believe, or what they will think of you for sending it.

Funny how we can be more worried about what other people think of us than what God thinks of us.

Pass it on if you think it has merit. If not then just discard it... no one will know you did. But, if you discard this thought process, don't sit back and complain about what bad shape the world is in.

My Best Regards, Honestly and respectfully,

Ben Stein

A PRAYER REQUEST !

I know that we live in a time that has pushed God and reglion aside . We have turned into a country of material thing and how much we can fill our pockets with .
It is truly sad not just sad with a single tear, but the sadness that effects the soul.
I'm asking all who still believe in GOD and payer to help me pray for a family in need.

I have a dear friend who's son is about to depart for his fifth tour of duty in the war. He is waiting for his son to be born which will be any day now ,then is said to be shipped out again.Like many of our soldiers he will see his son then have to leave home . His family is proud of his service to his country and is thankful he has made it home safe each time .The stress of him having to go again is very hard on his Mother who health is not good. I ask all of you who still believe in GOD and the power of prayer please help to keep him safe and help give his family strength to make it through another tour and that he and all our son and daughters make it home safe.
The Psalms
91

Abiding in the Shadow of the Almighty
1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High
shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

2 I will say of the LORD,
He is my refuge and my fortress:
my God; in him will I trust.

3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler,
and from the noisome pestilence.

4 He shall cover thee with his feathers,
and under his wings shalt thou trust:
his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night;
nor for the arrow that flieth by day;

6 nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness;
nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.

7 A thousand shall fall at thy side,
and ten thousand at thy right hand;
but it shall not come nigh thee.

8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold
and see the reward of the wicked.

9 Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge,
even the Most High, thy habitation;

10 there shall no evil befall thee,
neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, Mt. 4.6 · Lk. 4.10
to keep thee in all thy ways.

12 They shall bear thee up in their hands,
lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. Mt. 4.6 · Lk. 4.11

13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder:
the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet. Lk. 10.19

14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him:
I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.

15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him:
I will be with him in trouble;
I will deliver him, and honor him.

16 With long life will I satisfy him,
and show him my salvation.

~AMEN~

ARE THEY KIDDING !!!

Well it is a new year and things are pretty much back to normal around here.
Working ON new pieces and will be posting them soon. What do you all think of the changes I've made I would love some feedback . I might try something different !

Well on to what I want to say today,First I want to post this definition :

STUPIDITY :
1 a: slow of mind : obtuse b: given to unintelligent decisions or acts : acting in an unintelligent or careless manner c: lacking intelligence or reason : brutish
2: dulled in feeling or sensation : torpid
3: marked by or resulting from unreasoned thinking or acting : senseless

"Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former." - Albert Einstein

OK the reason I have listed this is ! I think we have reached an all time stupid moment in human history !
Today on one of those talk radio programs they were talking about a new tax that they wanted to hit our farmers with .
HOLD ON TO YOUR PANTS !!

A FLATULENCE TAX !!

NO! you read it right....lol !! Because of the methane gas produce by the cows.
They claim that this causes a big problem in our environment.
SO I guess they figure if they tax this it can help save the planet !

Alright WHAT ARE THESE FOOLS THINKING !!
We are paying people to sit around and find CRAP to tax !!

I believe in taking care of our planet ,WE should it is the only one we have and we should respect it 100 % .
I belong to many groups that stress CLEAN and GREEN !!and this is what I teach my child to respect the world we live in .
Too bad the people that we choose to run it are ,TOTALLY INSANE !!!

Next we will be taxed for our natural gas production ,CABBAGE anyone !!...lol
Then some other goof will come up with a quick way to make a fast buck , to filter the methane.
I already have a name for this wonder product ! introducing THE FLATULENCE FILTER !!
straps one on to old bossy quick and easy,Filters out all that nasty methane !!
Only $19.95 while supplies last .

COME ON!folks our farmers have enough troubles as it is ,Why do let these crazy people make it harder for them .Next we will be tax extra on foods the make you have gas.

Lets get together and find out who thought this madness up and give them a swift kick in their natural gas producer !!!

Sorry couldn't help myself...lol Have A peach of a day !

HAPPY NEW YEAR !!

Wow where did it go!,the older you get the quicker the years fly by .
I'm starting to feel like the baby new year himself starting out young and cheeky

then by years end your dustin cobwebs off your joints!

Most of this year I want to forget. With my illness becoming worse and my husbands brain tumor surgery .All I can say is, Thank God we are well and survived it all and ending this year on a good note. We add this year and all that has happened to our book of memories.

No matter how the year turned out and how it was filled,I always like to have a good time each day of the year.So I leave you with something to smile about and something to think about, enjoy.

"New Year's Eve: Where auld acquaintance be forgot...Unless, of course, those tests come back positive!" ~Jay Leno

“The object of a new year is not that we should have a new year. It is that we should have a new soul." ~G.K. Chesterton

"Youth is when you're allowed to stay up late on New Year's Eve. Middle age is when you're forced to." ~Bill Vaughn

Now there are more overweight people in America than average-weight people. So overweight people are now average, which means, you have met your New Year's resolution." ~Jay Leno

"A dog's New Year's Resolution: I will not chase that stick unless I actually see it leave his hand!" ~Unknown

Have a happy and safe NEW YEAR !!GOD BLESS !

Resolutions !

Here we are again ,that wonderful time of year when we make promises that we'll never keep..lol !!We promise to loose weight ,and to be more active. We promise to save more money, and to be nicer to the people we meet. Just like most I make a list and sware to keep it ,and every year I last about a week or two.
So this year I will change it up a bit and I hope some will join me .
The New Years Resolutions I will stick to:
#1. I will only eat one piece of cheese cake

#2. Chocolate cake in moderation

#3. Ice cream only to help me cool down on hot summer nights (Don't want to get heat stroke)

#4. Pizza with only one topping (We want to keep it light)

#5. I do think we should be more friendly to people that we meet, and staying fit. So I promise to wave each time I drive by the gym .That covers both at once !

I promise to save what ever I can till a GREAT sale comes along !

Now I don't have to feel guilty this year cause I know these resolutions should be easy to keep.
Good luck with what you choose this year !

MERRY CHRISTMAS !

From my family to yours I wish you all a very Merry Christmas ! God Bless you all !

1Now in those days an order was published by Caesar Augustus that the whole world should be registered. 2This was the first registration taken while Quirinius was governor of Syria. 3So all the people went to their hometowns to be registered.2

4Joseph, too, went up from the city of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to the city of David called Bethlehem, because he was a descendant[a] of the household and family of David. 5He went there[b] to be registered with Mary, who had been promised to him in marriage and was pregnant.4

6While they were there, the time came for her to have her baby, 7and she gave birth to her first child, a son. She wrapped him in strips of cloth and laid him in a feeding trough, because there was no place for them in the guest quarters.

The Shepherds Visit Jesus
8In that region there were shepherds living in the fields, watching their flock during the night. 9An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. 10Then the angel said to them, “Stop being afraid! Listen! I am bringing you good news of great joy for all the people. 11Today your Savior, the Lord Messiah, was born in the city of David. 12And this will be a sign for you: You will find a baby wrapped in strips of cloth and lying in a feeding trough.”

13Suddenly a multitude of the Heavenly Army appeared with the angel, praising God by saying, 14“Glory to God in the highest, and peace on earth to people who enjoy his favor!”[c]

15When the angels had left them and gone back to heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let's go to Bethlehem and see what has taken place that the Lord has told us about.” 16So they went quickly and found Mary and Joseph with the baby, who was lying in the feeding trough. 17When they saw this, they repeated what they had been told about this child. 18All who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds told them. 19However, Mary continued to treasure all these things in her heart and to ponder them. 20Then the shepherds returned to their flock,[d] glorifying and praising God for everything they had heard and seen, just as it had been told to them.

Tribute to an angel

I have been following the Caylee Ann case like most people ,and today they have made it official the bones they found are hers.
My heart cries for this child,PLEASE add her to your prayers tonight, that her soul will be at peace .

Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy Kingdom come,
thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory. for ever and ever. Amen

The LORD is my shepherd!

I will have everything that I need.

A good shepherd takes care of his sheep.

He brings them to rest
in green meadows,
and he leads them to drink
cool water from quiet streams.

God will take care of me just as well.

He shows me the right way to go,
so all the world will see
how good God is.

A good shepherd watches over his sheep.

He reaches out with his staff
and pulls them away from trouble,
and with his rod
he protects them from danger.

So even when things look dark and scary,
I will not be afraid,
because God is with me.

When trouble seems to be all around,
God prepares a feast for me.
I am his special guest,
and his blessings overflow.

His goodness and forgiveness
will be with me all of my life,
and I will live with him forever.

We are sorry Caylee that you were taken away so soon ,we pray for you ,you will be missed . GOD BLESS the children keep them safe ~ AMEN ~

Yarn everywhere !! AHHHHH !!

Well now that I'm back in the land of the living ,I'm back to work on Christmas gifts. YARN ! YARN EVERYWHERE !!

The dreams of yarn balls chasing me around a GIANT basket, should end soon and the little tic I've developed of holding everything like knitting needles should hopefully go away by new years, and the small problem of counting everything in rows. Most of us crafting crazy gals share the same symptoms!

This looks familiar I remember something like this over the weekend . The give away was the fuzz stuck to my lips and the yarn marks across my cheek !

I've been going scarf crazy but it will be well worth it when I see the little ones warm and toasty.
The countdown has begun good luck to all !!

Life on fire!

I spent my weekend feeling pretty poorly . I not sure if I have ever mentioned that I suffer with Fibromyalgia, and some days it gets the better of me . It is hard to explain to people who don't have it . Because on the outside we look fine, but on the inside we are on fire ,this is the best way to describe it . I burn with pain from the base of my skull to my tailbone, everyday all day. The muscles in my arms and legs burn with the same pain . Along with this pain is headaches and the feeling that my brain is on fire , and sharp stabbing pains that shoot up my spine . Then there is the Constance fatigue that accompanies it .It doesn't take much to tire me out .It becomes so overwhelming some days, most of the time you have to wait to have help to do things because you don't have the strength . For some one like me it is very hard ,I always done for myself and never needed to depend on anyone to get things done .These last eight years have changed all that ,If it wasn't for my families help alot of things wouldn't get done . I have had to slow down alot and take longer to do things .Some days I can walk fine and then the bad days I need a cane .Then there are the days I am stuck in bed because it is too much . I have tried many of the meds. they have out there most don't work for me or I've had a bad reaction to them. The stuff that does help makes me dizzy so I'm in a state of dizziness most of the time. Good thing I'm a goof ball so it doesn't show that much ! Like most of the people with this I'm always searching for anything to relieve some of the pain .I pray alot for just one day without it . Exercise is one of the thing that is hard to do . I try to keep some kind of exercise going but when I push it too far I pay the price .That is usually two days in bed,It can really beat you down some days.Like all who have this we spend many days in tears, but I can't let it beat you.You have to have that kind of will, or it will beat you .I have learned to live with somewhat I really have no choice and just take it a day at a time .Well tomorrow is another day and I look forward to a better one ,BE WELL !

Another day in Upstate !

Well as usual NY weather strikes again !! WOOHOO !,ya got to love it 50 and rainy,I rowed to work this morin !I wasn't going very fast either cause a family of duck pass me on the right.Honking for me to get out of their way.

I feel sorry for all those poor fellas who went through all the trouble of plowing yesterday . If they would of waited one more day they could of saved some gas. No more snow just Mud ,Yuck ! It won't last long according to the man snow tomorrow.

The Christmas topic blew through the work place again this morning,And a fellow worker said we should come up with a banner saying MERRY CHRISTMAS or ---- --- ! which is more offensive, YIKES !, you fill in the blank I don't want my mouth washed out with soap . HAHA !!

I have to admit it does get the point across . I would love to see a comedian get their hands on this subject and see what happens . That should be a trip .

Well keep dry I'm off to dance between the rain drops !!

Chilly Cheeks !

YIKES !! this morning was a frightfully freeze . I think I was frozen before I stepped out the door , BURRR.... What a day for my little heater at work to break down.I had to pull out the big boy heater .Me being the lucky one to sit next to the door ,so I end up with frozen knees . But once I cranked up the big heater, the blocks of ice dropped off and my knees were happy again ,WOOHOO ..!!

I was happy as a pig in you know what to get home though ,I some free time to finish up some more Christmas projects.
