Twenty Years !

Well I can't believe it will be twenty years of marriage for my husband and I on the 27th .
Who would of thought when we met at the age of fifteen and started dating almost thirty years later we would still as happy as that first date !
We have been through our share of hard times ,and this last year has been the hardest.
God almost took you home this past year but let you stay a little longer with us.
That makes this year more special then the others .
Thank you my sweetie for all you do and all you give ,there is no one who can take your place ! I LOVE YOU !

1000 Islands ! Alex Bay !

The first trip of the summer was to one our favorite spots the St. Lawrence river in Alex Bay,we enjoy the ride and all the sights ,I was able to get this one of the thousand Island Bridge what an incredible sight !



We have arrived,WOOHOO, There is the sign! It is only a two hour ride but we are always glad to see it that means we can got out and stretch our legs!!


First thing we did after parking the jeep was find a place to eat. Of course I forgot the chips and rolls in the jeep so my cutie pie niece went back to get them ,so I snapped this,she had nowhere to hide haha !GOT YA Trisha !


We were lucky to catch this ship as it went by I only wished it sails were up that would have made a great shot !


Boldt Castle Someday I'll take the tour of this castle ,it is breathtaking from a distance I can't imagine being inside.


This is the park that leads down to the waters edge. This tree was beautiful ,it was like a huge umbrella you walked under.


How would you like to drop this on your toe OUCH!!There is usually a Huge Battle Ship docked right here for tours. I sad we missed it this time I wanted some pictures,well there is next time .


My husband and I getting ready to cast in our lines in the water and see if we can rustle up some fish for dinner. Needless to say we didn't catch anything to even make a good fish story out of !
You can see the ship passing by as we worked on our poles. It always amazes me how such a HUGE ship like that can glide on the water,it is truly an awesome sight !

Did you say pro choice ! YIKES !!

I heard a program to day on the radio that made me shake my head with worry.Sweden has passed a law allowing abortion if you don't like the sex of the child you are carrying !This is so wrong on many levels.
As humans we have freedom of choice,and free will,but why dose it have to get to the point of hurting the innocent. We need to educate our young men and woman to make sound choices with their futures and the bodies.They give themselves away freely without thought of what can become of their poor choice.They lack respect for their own bodies, and who pays the price of their mistakes. Pro choice is not the answer, education is!We as parents need to teach our children the responsibilities that come with an intimate actions,WE need to lead by example.Teach our children to make the right choice,before they have to make a bad choice!
I don't write this to rub anyone the wrong way ,but we as a people need a wake up call. Life has become expendable on all levels,compassion has been put on the back burner,and has been replaced with selfishness. There is nothing wrong with free will,but not at the cost of life. No matter how anyone argues the point,life begins at conception ,if somethings grows it is alive !

Mommy keep me safe,

I’m only six weeks old today,

This birthday gift to me,

A pair of bright blue eyes,

First Communions !

Hey all just a quick reminder that first communions are coming up fast ! If you need any rosaries for those special little ones I have them for you .
What could be more perfect on a special day ,then a pretty set of rosary beads,and for most their first set .I would be honored to have them use my rosary's for their prayers,and to be a part of this special covenant with God.

Wonderful Weekend !

What a wonderful weekend,I couldn't of ask for anything better!
We spent our time outside enjoying the great weather and the wonders of nature.
Our travels brought us to the Salmon river we always make our way there for fishing.
This time around we came back to a fishing spot we stumbled across in the fall so this was the first time in this spot in the spring.
What a wonderful sight we found ,as we drove down the road each side was covered in a blanket of white flowers .Their sent filled the air ,I just had to stop and get a closer look.



This is a close up of these pretty flowers I don't know what they are called but,but it was truly a treat to see them cover the floor of the woods .



As we walked through I came across these pretty yellow beauties,I pretty much lucked out in the flower department .




After we fished for a bit we drove to the Salmon river falls .
If you ever make your way to upstate New York this is one place you need to visit,the sight is truly a wonder and one you will enjoy.






As we walked around and took in the sights we stumbled across one of the locals he looked a little green, I think it he was afraid of heights !We were pretty high.











The day was well spent in tune with mother nature and spending time as a family .
The last place we stop before we made our way home was this little country store .
Everyone goes there it is famous for their homemade cheese ,we stop every time we go.
We picked out what we wanted and I found this little beauty in their gift shop I had to bring it home it was to cute to pass up !
