Favorite Things !

My favorite time of year is here !HOOHOO !! I Love Autumn The changing of the leaves the chill in the air .It is snuggle up time. I love to bake and fill the house with the wonderful smells of bread and pies or even a good stew. Just makes you warm all over don't it !!

Walking along the lake or even through the woods the sound of the leaves crunching under foot and the peace that fills the air is always special.

I also love to bring out the fall decorations my all time favorites are scarecrows I have them all over ! To be honest I keep them out all year ,the just make the house feel warm and inviting,I found these little cuties the other day .

Then when I was at the store yesterday I spoted this little girl who needed a home .I alway wanted a little girl so I let her come home with me !

I guess my foundness of scarecrows stared with my favorite movie wizard of OZ,the scarecrow was my favorite.

don't forget to snuggle up with someone special tonight !!

Abiding in the Shadow of the Almighty

1

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High

shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

I will say of the LORD,

He is my refuge and my fortress:

my God; in him will I trust.

Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler,

and from the noisome pestilence.

He shall cover thee with his feathers,

and under his wings shalt thou trust:

his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night;

nor for the arrow that flieth by day;

6

nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness;

nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.

7

A thousand shall fall at thy side,

and ten thousand at thy right hand;

but it shall not come nigh thee.

Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold

and see the reward of the wicked.

Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge,

even the Most High, thy habitation;

10

there shall no evil befall thee,

neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

For he shall give his angels charge over thee, Mt. 4.6 · Lk. 4.10

to keep thee in all thy ways.

They shall bear thee up in their hands,

Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder:

the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet. Lk. 10.19

Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him:

I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.

He shall call upon me, and I will answer him:

I will be with him in trouble;

I will deliver him, and honor him.

With long life will I satisfy him,

and show him my salvation.
